MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Augsburg University men's basketball team dropped a heartbreaker to Concordia College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Hall. The Cobbers scored six points in the final 11 seconds, including a half-court buzzer beater to upset the Auggies.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg led 76-73 with 43 seconds to play after a three-point basket by
Booker Coplin (JR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS). The Cobbers answered with a three-pointer of their own on the following possession to tie things up with 11 seconds to play. Augsburg had a layup attempt but couldn't convert and Concordia pulled down the rebound and dribbled to half court, launched a long shot that went in as time expired.
• Coplin led the Augsburg offense with 25 points, while adding seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a pair of steals.
• Playing all 40 minutes,
Kevin McKiernan (SR, Savage, Minn./Prior Lake HS) scored 13 points for Augsburg, shooting 5-for-12 from the field, while adding two rebounds and two assists.

Carter Duncan (JR, Chisago City, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS), pulled down seven rebounds and tied his career-high with 13 points. Duncan has now scored in double figures in three of his last five games.
• The Auggies shot 39.4 percent (26-of-66) from the floor, while Concordia hit 57.4 percent (31-of-54) of their shot attempts. The Cobbers posted a 37-32 advantage on the boards.
FOR THE FOES
• Concordia finished with four players in double figures, led by Collin Larson, who finished with 22 points, including the game-winning half-court shot.
• Bryden Urie led the Cobbers on the boards, pulling down seven rebounds, while adding 10 points and a team-best five assists.
