ST. CLOUD, Minn. --
Austin Dollimer (FY, Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount HS) scored a goal in his third straight game on Thursday, tying the contest for the Augsburg University men's hockey team in a 2-2 overtime tie at Saint John's University on Thursday evening. After a pair of scoreless overtime sessions, the Johnnies outscored the Auggies 2-0 in a three-round shootout to claim the bonus point in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Dollimer tied the game at 2-2 with an unassisted goal at the 10:08 mark of the second period, his eighth goal of the season. His eight goals and 13 points on the season are both third-best among
MIAC rookies so far this season. He's now scored a goal in three straight games and has had a goal or assist in four straight games.

John O'Connor (JR, Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead HS) gave the Auggies a 1-0 lead with a goal at the 18:03 mark of the first period, fed by
Tommy Carey (SO, Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead HS) and
Alex Rodriguez (SR, Miami, Fla./Shattuck-St. Mary's (Minn.) HS). O'Connor scored his second goal of the season, and his 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) are tied for the most among MIAC defenders this season. Carey's 16 assists are now second-most among MIAC players.
• The teams played a scoreless 5-on-5 overtime, which officially ended the game for NCAA and statistical purposes as a tie. The teams then played a 3-on-3 second overtime, which was scoreless, then a three-round shootout to decide a bonus point in the MIAC standings. After both the Johnnies and Auggies missed their first shots, the Johnnies made both their shots, with Augsburg missing its second shot, giving the Johnnies the bonus point.
• Augsburg outshot Concordia by a 40-31 margin in the game, including a 16-7 advantage in the first period.
Nick Schmit (SR, Fargo, Minn./Fargo North HS) had 29 saves in goal for the Auggies.

• Kyle Wagner scored a goal 10 seconds following O'Connor's game-opening goal for the Johnnies, assisted by Joe Chitwood and Adam Orn. Brady Heppner scored at the 4:11 mark of the second period, assisted by Troy Dobbs and Wagner.
• Andrew Lindgren had 38 saves in goal for Saint John's.
