WINONA, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team outscored Saint Mary's 25-10 in the fourth quarter, en route to a 73-62 comeback victory over Saint Mary's University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at SMU Gym. With the win, Augsburg remains unbeaten in conference play and is currently tied with the University of St. Thomas atop the conference standings with a 6-0 mark in MIAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After trailing 52-48 af the end of the third quarter, Augsburg outscored the Cardinals 25-10 in the final frame. Augsburg held Saint Mary's scoreless over the final 4:20 of action to seal another important MIAC win.
• Augsburg finished with three players in double figures, led by a 17-point effort fromÂ
Tamira McLemore (JR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS). McLemore was 6-for-6 from the free-throw line on the afternoon and added four rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals.

Camryn Speese (JR, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) had a strong effort for Augsburg, finishing with 16 points on a 7-for-10 shooting performance. Speese collected a career-best five steals, while adding three rebounds and a pair of blocked shots.
• Also finishing in double figures was
Arianna Jones (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS), who finished with 10 points. She pulled down a team-best six rebounds and added a team-best three assists.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 41.9 percent (26-of-62) from the field, while Saint Mary's connected on 40.4 percent (21-of-52) of its shot attempts.
• The Cardinals posted a 40-33 advantage on the boards, but the Auggies outscored SMU 11-6 in second chance points.
• The Auggies won the turnover battle, forcing 28 Cardinal turnovers, while only committing 11 and posted a 25-16 advantage in points off turnovers.

• Saint Mary's was led by Brooklyn Paulson, who scored a career-high 23 points, which included a 7-for-13 effort from beyond the arc.
• Brandi Blattner posted an 18-point, 13-rebound double-double for the Cardinals.
