TACOMA, Wash. -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team was held to a season-low shooting effort in dropping its first game of the season, a 74-51 nonconference loss at the University of Puget Sound on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Puget Sound stared the game on a 14-0 run, and when combined with a season-low 24.6 percent (15-of-61) shooting for the Auggies, led to Augsburg's first setback of the 2019-20 campaign.
• The Auggie offense was paced by Tamira McLemore (SR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS), who finished with a team-best 14 points and five rebounds in just 29 minutes of action.
• Kaezha Wubben (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) scored a season-best 12 points, going 5-for-7 from the field in just 15 minutes of action.
• Leading Augsburg on the boards was Jazmyn Solseth (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran HS), who pulled down six rebounds, while adding five points. Jen Masello (SO, Darien, Ill./Downers Grove South HS) added four rebounds and four points.
• Puget Sound shot 49.1 percent (26-of-53) from the field and 50.0 percent from three-point range (9-of-18). The Loggers claimed a 50-28 advantage on the boards.
• Augsburg forced 23 Puget Sound turnovers, while only committing 12 and claimed a 14-9 advantage in points off-turnovers.
 
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• This was the first matchup between these two teams in school history.

 FOR THE FOES
• Puget Sound finished with four players in double figures, led by an 18-point effort from Cassidy Daugherty.
• Jamie Lange recorded a 14-point, 14-rebound double-double for the Loggers.
