MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University men's basketball team was led to victory by
Booker Coplin (SR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) and
Henry Mulligan (SR, Iowa City, Iowa/Iowa City HS), who both posted 20-plus-point performances, spurring the Auggies to an 85-57 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over St. Olaf College on Wednesday night at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After leading 39-33 at the intermission, Augsburg used a 21-6 run early in the second half to break the game open, never looking back in coasting to the win over MIAC rival St. Olaf.
• Coplin posted his fourth double-double of the season and 21st of his Auggie career, recording game-highs in points (27) and rebounds (11). Coplin was 10-of-19 from the field and tied a career-high with eight assists.
• Mulligan scored a season-high 20 points, shooting 7-of-13 from the field and 5-of-9 from three-point range to go along with a pair of steals.

James Streeter (JR, Coon Rapids, Minn./Totino-Grace HS) recorded his second-straight double-digit scoring performance, shooting 6-for-8 from the field for Auggie career-best 13 points.

Carter Duncan (SR, Chisago City, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS) added six points and five rebounds for the Auggies.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 49.3 percent (34-of-69) from the field and 48.0 percent (12-of-25) from three-point range. The Oles converted at a 37.5 percent (21-of-56) clip from the field and just 28.0 percent (7-of-25) from beyond the arc. Augsburg posted a 41-29 advantage on the boards.
FOR THE FOES
• St. Olaf was led by Carter Uphus, who finished with 11 points on a 5-for-6 shooting night.
• Noah Beck added 10 points for the Oles.
