MINNEAPOLIS -- The No. 22-ranked Augsburg University women's basketball team used a balanced scoring attack to post a 76-61 victory over St. Olaf College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies jumped out to a 26-16 first-quarter lead and maintained a double-digit advantage for the remainder of the half, going into the locker room at the intermission leading 40-27. St. Olaf was able to cut the Augsburg led to seven with just under two minutes to play in the third quarter, but that was as close as the Oles would get as Augsburg maintained a double-digit lead for the entire fourth quarter and picked up another MIAC victory.
• Five different Auggies scored nine or more points in the contest, led by a 13-point effort from
Arianna Jones (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS). She connected on a season-best four three-pointers and dished out five assists, while picking up a steal.

Aiza Wilson (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) also connected on four three-pointers on the night to add to her school-record career total. Wilson has connected on at least one three pointer in every game this season.
• Also finishing in double figures for the Auggies was
Selena Lor (Winona, Minn./Winona HS), who was 4-for-7 from the field for 11 points, while dishing out four assists and adding a pair of steals.

Camryn Speese (SR, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) andÂ
Kaezha Wubben (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) scored 9 points apiece for Augsburg. Speese pulled down four rebounds, while Wubben collected a team-best five steals.
• Leading Augsburg on the boards was
Jen Masello (SO, Darien, Ill./Downers Grove South HS), who pulled down a season-best seven rebounds to go along with two points.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 38.8 percent (26-of-67) from the field and 34.3 percent from three-point range (12-of-35). St. Olaf was was able to connect on 47.1 percent (24-of-51) from the field but just 20.0 percent (2-of-10) from beyond the arc.
• St. Olaf posted a 48-31 advantage on the boards, but Augsburg was able to win the turnover battle forcing 26, while only committing eight and converted that into a 28-9 advantage in points off-turnovers. The Auggies also posted a 20-6 advantage in fast-break points.Â

• The Auggies have now won five straight over the Oles.

• The St. Olaf offense was led by K'Lynn Lewis, who scored a game-high 16 points.
• Britta Koenen and Rachel Kelly pulled down 10 rebounds apiece to lead the Oles on the boards.
