MINNEAPOLIS -- Connecting on a career-high seven 3-pointers,
Aiza Wilson (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) led the No. 22-ranked Augsburg University women's basketball team in a dominating 70-48 win over visiting Carleton College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies never trailed in the game, which was tied just once at 3-3. But after the tie, the Auggies outscored the Knights 18-2 the rest of the first quarter, and the lead never dipped below 14 points the rest of the way. Augsburg, ranked No. 22 in the latest D3hoops.com Division III national poll, led by as many as 27 points in the closing minutes.
• Twelve different Auggies saw playing time in the game, with nine different Auggies figuring in the scoring.Â
• Wilson hit her seven 3-pointers in 12 attempts, accounting for all of her game-high 21 points, tying a career-best scoring effort. The seven 3-pointers are tied for the second-most in a single game in school history, behind the nine made by Shannon Renne in a 2010 game against Carleton.
Wilson has a MIAC-leading 33 three-pointers, 12 more than any other league player.

Camryn Speese (SR, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) scored in double figures for the seventh time in her nine games this season, with 16 points, six rebounds and a career-best six assists.

Jazmyn Solseth (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran HS) scored 12 points with eight rebounds -- her seventh game with six or more rebounds this season.
Solseth currently stands eighth among MIAC players with a 7.0 rebounds per-game average.

Arianna Jones (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS) scored eight points with three rebounds, three assists and three steals.
• Augsburg had its second-best shooting effort of the season, connecting on 48.2 percent (27-of-56), including 10-of-27 from three-point range. The Auggies out-rebounded the Knights by a 34-32 margin.
• Augsburg claimed 22 points off of 19 Carleton turnovers, while allowing just seven points off of 14 miscues.

• Samantha Cooke scored 15 points with six rebounds to lead Carleton. Katie Chavez scored 14 points with three assists.
• Aiana Whitfield scored 10 points with four rebounds, and Jill Yanai had four points, six assists and eight rebounds.
