QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "What an incredibly resilient and gritty performance from our guys today. Down 2-0 and playing poorly, we used the break to tweak a few things and the guys showed why they are a special group after that. We pinned PLU back for the majority of the second half and patiently chipped away at their lead, before our most influential players delivered the winning goal. Daniel had been double-teamed all day and he still found a way to blow through the line to smash home Lionel's perfect cross, his second assist on the day."
• "It was a group effort and everyone pitched in one way or another. We couldn't script a better ending to a tremendous trip. The guys really grew closer throughout the weekend, through two challenging games and a lot of quality time together."
• "I am so happy for the group. Once again, they have established a positive and supportive culture that will help us through tough moments we are bound to face this season."
• "I thought Zach Berg managed the game very well when he entered for Garrett (who could do nothing on the goals against). Jonny Vu continues to impress and his smile is so contagious. He is having fun, and it shows in the way he plays."
• "I am really happy for the MIAC this weekend. As a conference, we are undefeated in all of our opening games. This league is no joke -- it's so tight and all the teams are really good. Hopefully today's win gives us the belief we need to prepare us for the upcoming challenges."
