Augsburg men suffer 2-1 loss at UW-River Falls

RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- Gavin Holland (SO, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) scored the lone goal of the game for Augsburg University in the second period, as the No. 5-ranked Auggies suffered a 2-1 nonconference loss at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Friday evening.

Holland now has a team-best seven goals on the season and 10 points. His seven goals stand tied for second-best among MIAC players in overall statistics.
• UW-River Falls outshot Augsburg by a 28-24 margin in the game. Goalie Daniil Gerasimov (JR, Moscow, Russia/State School 1944) had 26 saves for the Auggies.
