Grant Reichenbacher (FY, Verona, Wis./Madison Edgewood HS) and
Charlie Parker (JR, Verona, Wis./Verona HS) scored two goals apiece, leading the No. 9-ranked Augsburg University men's hockey team to a 6-0 win over Bethel University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Reichenbacher claimed his second collegiate multi-goal game, scoring from
Jarod Blackowiak (FY, Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie HS) andÂ
Ben Henderson (SO, North Branch, Minn./Totino-Grace HS) 3:53 into the game, then adding an unassisted goal 12 minutes into the second period.
• Parker recorded the first multi-goal game of his collegiate career, scoring midway through the first period on assists byÂ
Erik Palmqvist (FY, Linkoping, Sweden/Anderstorpsgymnasiet) and
Fritz Belisle (FY, Red Wing, Minn./Roseville Area HS), and scoring from
Nick Woodward (SO, Dubuque, Iowa/Dubuque HS) at the 5:19 mark of the second period.
• Augsburg scored two power-play goals in the game, the first by
Patrick O'Connor (SO, Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead HS) from
Michael Redmon (FY, West Bloomfield, Mich./Centennial (Tenn.) HS) and
Austin Dollimer (SO, Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount HS) late in the first period.

Jonathan Waring (JR, Farmington Hills, Mich.), a transfer from Endicott (Mass.) who joined the Auggies at the semester break, scored his first goal in an Augsburg uniform in the final minute of play, a power-play goal from
Matt Hines (SO, Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins HS).
• Augsburg outshot Bethel by a 32-23 margin in the game.

Daniil Gerasimov (JR, Moscow, Russia/State School 1944) stopped all 23 shots he faced to register his third career shutout in goal, all coming this season.
FOR THE FOES
• Dylan Giorgio had six shots on-goal for Bethel.
• Ridge Gerads had 12 saves in goal for the Royals in the first period, with Joe Sheppard recording 14 saves in the final two periods of relief.
