MINNEAPOLIS --
Katie Flynn (FY, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) claimed her first collegiate multi-goal game, and
Abby Bollig (SO, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) claimed her first collegiate shutout in goal, as the Augsburg University women's hockey team scored a 2-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win over Bethel University on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Despite the close score, Augsburg dominated play throughout the contest, outshooting Bethel by a 34-12 margin, including a 25-7 advantage in the final two periods.
• Flynn scored her first goal of the game 6:37 into play, on assists by
Emily Ach (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) and
Bridget Wagner (SR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS). Flynn capped the scoring with an empty-net goal at the 19:42 mark of the third period, also assisted by Ach. Flynn is now tied with Ach for the team's lead in goals with six, and Ach now has six assists and a team-best 12 points on the year.
• Making her eighth collegiate start and seventh this season in goal, Bollig claimed her first collegiate shutout, stopping all 12 shots she faced to improve to 6-1-0 on the season.
• Augsburg has now won six of its last seven games.
FOR THE FOES
• Mallory Tidona had 32 saves in goal for Bethel.
