EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- The No. 3-ranked University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's hockey team scored a 4-0 victory over visiting Augsburg University in a nonconference game on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg was outshot by a 23-20 margin by UW-Eau Claire, which scored single goals in the first and second periods, and a pair of goals, including an empty-netter, in the final period. The Auggies were unable to score on five power-play opportunities in the game.

Bridget Wagner (SR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) had five shots on-goal for the Auggies, while
Emily Ach (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) had four shots.

Annie Juergens (SR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) had 19 saves in goal for Augsburg.
FOR THE FOES
• Sydney Hendricks scored two goals for UW-Eau Claire, with Ella Ierino and Abby Roeser adding the other Blugold goals.
• Erin Connolly had 20 saves in a shutout effort in goal.
