ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- The No. 16-ranked Augsburg University women's basketball team posted another big Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory, claiming a 67-60 win over the College of Saint Benedict on Saturday afternoon at Claire Lynch Hall. With the win, the Auggies remain unbeaten in MIAC play and are one of just three conference squads remaining without a loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg demonstrated its composure down the stretch, outscoring the Bennies 14-7 in the final 4:30 of the game.
Arianna Jones (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS) hit a big three-pointer with 1:37 to play to put the Auggies up 62-55, then followed it up with a pair of free throws the extend the Auggie lead to nine. St. Benedict countered with a layup and three pointer of its own, butÂ
Tamira McLemore (SR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) hit 3-of-4 from the free-throw line in the final 23 seconds to seal the victory for the Auggies.Â
• Augsburg had two players finish with double-digit rebounds, as
Camryn Speese (SR, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) and
Jen Masello (Darien, Ill./Downers Grove South HS) both set season-highs with 10 rebounds apiece. Speese added eight points and six steals, while Masello finished a team-best plus-20 in plus-minus.
• Offensively, Augsburg was led by McLemore, who finished with 20 points, while adding three rebounds and a pair of steals, playing a team-high 32 minutes.

Kaezha Wubben (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) also had a solid afternoon for the Auggies, finishing with 10 points and four rebounds, shooting 4-of-6 from the field, while picking up three steals.
• Augsburg shot 38.2 percent (26-of-68) from the field, while the Bennies connected on 40.8 percent (20-of-49) of their shot attempts. Augsburg outscored Saint Benedict 38-20 in points in the paint and forced 22 Bennie turnovers, while only committing 11.
FOR THE FOES
• Saint Benedict was led by an 18-point, eight-rebound effort from Megan Thompson.
• Alex Johnson added 12 points and eight rebounds for the Bennies.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• The 10-1 start to the season marks the best-ever start for the Augsburg women's basketball team in its varsity program history (since 1972-73).
