HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg built a 2-0 lead after two periods, then scored twice in the last five minutes of the game after the Pointers had cut the lead to 2-1.

Brooke Leone (SO, Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS), a transfer from Hamline, claimed her first point as an Auggie with the assist.
• The Auggies took a 2-0 lead on the power play at the 6:16 mark of the second period, as Nikki Nightengale (SR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) slid a pass from right to left across the crease, and Bridget Wagner (SR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) hit a one-timer into an open net for her fourth goal of the season. Emily Ach (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) also assisted on the goal.
• Katie Flynn (FY, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) gave the Auggies a 3-1 lead with 5:02 left to play, taking advantage of a steal at the blue line from Mackenzie Molnar (SR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) and walking in for the score from the left faceoff circle. McKenna Ellena (JR, Wales, Wis./Kettle Moraine HS) capped the scoring with her fifth goal of the season, a power-play, empty-net goal from Prekker, with 1:51 left.
