MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University women's basketball seniors
Aiza Wilson (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) and
Camryn Speese (Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) both hit career milestones in 78-66 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Hamline University on Wednesday night at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wilson set a new MIAC record for career three-pointers, hitting three from long range while scoring 12 points. She now has 214 career three-pointers, breaking the old MIAC record of 211, set by Missy Pederson of St. Thomas from 1998-2002. In addition to her 12 points, Wilson dished out a game-high five assists.
• With 14 points and six rebounds, Speese became the eighth player in the history of Augsburg women's basketball to reach the 1,000-point career scoring plateau. She now has 1,010 points in 97 career games. Speese was 4-for-7 from the field and added a pair of steals.
• Offensively,
Tamira McLemore (SR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) led Augsburg with 15 points, while pulling down five rebounds and adding a pair of assists. McLemore has now scored in double figures in 13 straight games and all but two contests this season.

Arianna Jones (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo) added 10 points and five rebounds.
• Leading Augsburg on the boards,
Jazmyn Solseth (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./St. Criox Lutheran HS) pulled down a team-best 10 rebounds, to go along with six points.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 43.9 percent (25-of-57) from the field, while the Hamline connected on 44.9 percent (22-of-49) of its shot attempts. The Auggies hit 12 three pointers in the game, compared to just five for the Pipers.
• Hamline posted a 37-33 advantage on the boards, but the Auggies won the turnover battle -- forcing 19 turnovers, while committing 11 -- posting a 22-12 advantage in points off turnovers.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• The win marks the 10th consecutive victory for the Auggies over the Pipers.
FOR THE FOES
• Hamline was led offensively by Lydia Lecher, who scored 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting.
• Sarah Loken added a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double for the Pipers.
