MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team scored a 107-77 victory over Macalester College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the Leonard Center. With the win, Augsburg reaches the 20-win plateau for just the second time in school history.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg jumped out to a 31-13 first-quarter lead and never looked back, cruising on to the team's 20th victory of the season.
• The Auggie offense was led by 19-point performances from
Jen Masello (SO, Darien, Ill./Downers Grove South HS) and
Kaezha Wubben (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS). The 19 points were a career-high for Masello, who finished 7-for-8 from the field, 5-of-5 at the free-throw line, while adding four rebounds and two blocked shots. Wubben tied her season-high with the 19 point effort, finishing 5-of-8 from the field and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.

Tamira McLemore (SR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) and
Aiza Wilson (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) added 16 points apiece. McLemore pulled down six rebounds and dished out three assists, while Wilson added to her MIAC three-point record with a 4-of-8 effort from beyond the arc.
• Also finishing in double figures for the Auggies was
Jazmyn Solseth (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran HS), who put up 13 points on a perfect 6-for-6 afternoon.
• For the game, Augsburg shot a season-best 55.2 percent (37-of-67) from the field, while Macalester connected on 44.4 percent (32-of-72) of its shot attempts. The Auggies hit 12 three-pointers in the game, the 11th time this season Augsburg was finished with double-digit three-pointers. Six different Auggies connected on three-pointers in the game.
• Augsburg posted a 43-32 advantage on the boards and a 58-32 advantage in bench points.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• The 107-point offensive output is a program record, besting the 101 points scored against St. Scholastica earlier this season (Nov. 19).
FOR THE FOES
• Macalester was led offensively by Justine Barraza, who scored 22 points on 10-of-19 shooting.
• Celine Sabbagh added 15 points for the Scots.
