MINNEAPOLIS --
Mackenzie Molnar (SR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) claimed her third collegiate multi-goal game, leading the Augsburg University women's hockey team to its 12th straight victory over Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents, a 4-2 win over Concordia College-Moorhead in play on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Molnar broke a 1-1 tie with a shorthanded goal 1:19 into the third period, intercepting a pass in her own zone and sprinting up the right wing, firing a shot to the top left corner of the goal. Her second goal, a power-play marker at the 15:10 mark, gave the Auggies their final margin of victory. She scored her seventh goal of the season on a slap shot from the left circle, assisted by
Ellie Tabaka (SR, Maplewood, Minn./Tartan HS) and
Jenna Gerold (FY, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS).
• Augsburg opened the scoring with a goal 4:26 into the second period, as
Bridget Wagner (SR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) took a pass off the right half-wall from
Katie Flynn (FY, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) and deposited it in the net for her 10th goal of the season.
• Sixty-six seconds after Molnar's second goal, the Auggies took a 3-1 lead on Flynn's eighth goal of the season, working her way the length of the ice through several defenders for a wrist shot in the slot. The goal was her eighth of the season.
• Augsburg claimed a 32-17 advantage in shots on-goal, including a 14-6 advantage in the first period.

Abby Bollig (SO, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) improved to 10-1-0 on the season with the win, collecting 15 saves.
