ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- Behind an eight-save effort from
Iz Shuster (SO, Waconia, Minn./Waconia HS), and an 89th-minute goal by
Ana Ortiz (SR, Waterloo, Iowa/Columbus Catholic HS), the Augsburg University women's soccer team claimed a 1-1, two-overtime tie at the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 1-0 after a Saint Benedict goal in the 58th minute, Augsburg tied the game on Ortiz's first goal of the season and seventh of her career, assisted by
Annika Rudolph (FY, Richfield, Minn./Richfield HS), her second collegiate assist.
• Shuster came up with a career-high eight saves for the Auggies, including a pair of saves in the 20 minutes of overtime.
• Saint Benedict outshot Augsburg by a 19-17 margin, including a 5-3 advantage in overtime. The Blazers also had nine corner kicks to Augsburg's two.
• Ortiz,
Jennifer Bobaric (JR, Andover, Minn./Andover HS) and
Molly Conners (SR, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) had three shots each for the Auggies.
FOR THE FOES
• Olivia Miller scored from Abby Willenbring at the 57:34 mark for the Blazers.
• Annie Waters had three saves in the first half, and Paige Kahlmeyer had three saves in the second half and overtime.
