ST. PAUL, Minn. – Behind a career-high 21 points from
Selena Lor (SR, Winona, Minn./Winona HS), the Augsburg University women's basketball team earned its second consecutive Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory with a 65-61 win over Bethel University at the Robertson Center on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The game remained tight through the opening minutes as the teams were tied at seven near the midpoint of the quarter. The Auggies were the stronger team in the final minutes of the quarter, jumping out to a 17-9 lead with 1:26 remaining and carrying a 19-12 lead into the quarter break.
• The Augsburg defense again held the Royals to just 12 points in the second quarter while scoring 13 on offense to extend the lead to eight at halftime.
• The Royals worked their way back into it in the third as they tied the game at 36 each with 4:04 remaining and took a three-point lead less than a minute later. The Auggies answered with two three-pointers less than a minute apart to retake the lead for what proved to be the final time. Augsburg outscored Bethel by a margin of 19-17 in the fourth to seal the four-point win.
• The Auggies connected on 27 of their 60 shot attempts (45.0%) from the floor while holding the Royals to 28-of-73 (38.4%).
• Lor was the scoring leader for the Auggies in the game, recording a career-high 21 points on eight-of-16 shooting from the floor. She also contributed five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks in the game.

Jen Masello (SR, Darien, Ill./Downers Grove South HS) notched her third straight double-double with 16 points on 7-15 from the floor and 13 rebounds in the game, also adding in two blocks, two steals, and an assist.

Kalena Myers (SO, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) tied her season-high with 14 points for the Auggies on an efficient 7-12 from the floor while adding in six steals and an assist.

Jaley Coplin (JR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) and
Katie Manecke (SO, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) each scored seven points for Augsburg on the night.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• Tuesday night's matchup was the 87
th matchup between the two teams all-time with Augsburg snapping a four-game skid against the Royals with the win.
FOR THE FOES
• Lydia Hagstrom was the scoring leader for Bethel with 14 points on seven-of-15 shooting.
