ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team was back in action for the first time since Feb. 6. The Auggies had a cold shooting night and fell to Hamline University 64-41 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Tuesday night at Hutton Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first half was a low-scoring affair, with Hamline taking a 20-16 lead into the locker room at the intermission. Augsburg scored the first basket of the second half to pull within two, but Hamline countered with a 14-0 run and the Auggies weren't able to recover.

Kalena Myers (FY, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS), who scored 11 points, while pulling down nine rebounds.

Jaley Coplin (SO, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) finished with nine points and seven rebounds, whileÂ
Jen Masello (JR, Darien, Ill./Downers Grove South HS) pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds, while adding five points and four blocked shots.

Nikole Gullerud (SO, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) added six points apiece.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 22.2 percent (14-of-63) from the field, while the Hamline connected on 36.4 percent (24-of-66) of their shot attempts.
• The Pipers claimed a 49-44 advantage on the boards.
FOR THE FOES
• Hamline was led by an 18-point effort from Larisa O'Neil, who finished 6-of-10 from the field.
• Jaiden Kline added 14 points and five rebounds for the Pipers.
