ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team fell 66-59 to Bethel University in a hard-fought Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday evening at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The game featured 10 lead changes and four tied scores. Bethel led 40-39 at the start of fourth quarter and both teams traded baskets for the first four minutes of the frame. Augsburg hit 2-for-2 from the free throw line to bring the score to a 52-50 advantage for Bethel with 5:47 remaining. The Royals went on an 8-0 run to go up 10 with 3:36 remaining. Augsburg was able to cut the lead to five down the stretch but couldn't complete the rally as the Auggies fell to the Royals.

Jen Masello (JR, Darien, Ill./Downers Grove South HS), who posted the first double-double of her Auggie career, finishing with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Masello also recorded six blocked shots, which is tied for second on the Augsburg women's basketball all-time single game record list.Â

Kalena Myers (FY, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS)Â tied her season-high, scoring 14 points, which included a 2-for-3 effort from beyond the arc, while adding four rebounds and three assists.

Selena Lor (JR, Winona, Minn.) scored a season-best 10 points, and tied teammateÂ
Jaley Coplin (SO, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) with a game-high four steals.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 33.3 percent (21-of-63) from the field, while the Bethel connected on 37.9 percent (25-of-66) of its shot attempts.
• The Royals claimed a 51-42 advantage on the boards.

• Bethel was led offensively by Elizabeth Schwarz and Kat Brown-Erdal, who scored 18 points apiece.
• Bella Williams added nine rebounds and dished out 10 assists for the Royals.
