Austin Martinsen (SR, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) figured in the scoring on all four Augsburg goals, and goalie
Daniil Gerasimov (SR, Moscow, Russia/State School 1944) picked up his sixth career shutout, as the Augsburg University men's hockey team remained unbeaten with a 4-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Hamline University on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Martinsen assisted on the Auggies' first three goals of the game, then scored a power-play goal at the 18:44 mark of the second period, assisted by
Erik Palmqvist (SO, Linkoping, Sweden/Anderstorpsgymnasiet) and
Gunnar Goodmanson (SR, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS). Martinsen now has a team-leading 12 points (four goals, eight assists), and reached the 50-point mark for his career. In 74 career games, he now has 20 goals and 31 assists for 51 points.
• Gerasimov stopped all 23 shots he faced to improve to 2-0-0 on the season, picking up his first shutout of the season and sixth of his career.

Gavin Holland (JR, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) figured in the scoring on Augsburg's first three goals of the game, assisting on the first two goals and scoring at the 8:30 mark of the second period, assisted by Martinsen and
Michael Redmon (SO, West Bloomfield, Mich./Centennial (Tenn.) HS). Holland now has a team-best five goals and sits second on the team with 12 points (three assists).

Tommy Carls (FY, Coon Rapids, Minn./Centennial HS) opened the scoring with his second goal of the season, a power-play marker at the 14:03 mark of the first period, assisted by Martinsen and Holland. Goodmanson followed with a goal, also from Martinsen and Holland, at the 17:33 mark of the opening frame.
• Augsburg held a 43-23 advantage in shots on-goal in completing the weekend sweep of the Pipers, after a 5-2 nonconference win on Thursday.
