ST. PETER, Minn. -- Outshooting the visitors by a 33-15 margin, the Gustavus Adolphus College women's hockey team scored a 4-0 nonconference victory over Augsburg University on Saturday afternoon at the Don Roberts Ice Rink.

• Gustavus outshot Augsburg by a 24-7 margin through the first two periods of play, scoring a goal in the first period and three in the second.

Mara McClain (SO, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) had 29 saves in goal for the Auggies.

Katie Flynn (SO, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) and
McKenna Ellena (SR, Wales, Wis./Kettle Moraine HS) had three shots on-goal each for Augsburg, while
Brooke Leone (JR, Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS) and
Jenna Gerold (SO, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) had two shots each.
FOR THE FOES
• Hailey Holland scored the first two goals of the game for Gustavus, adding an assist for a three-point afternoon.
• Madigan Goldsworthy and Kristina Press also scored for the Gusties.
• Katie McCoy had seven saves in goal, while Emilie Helms-Leslie had eight saves.
