Olivia Dynneson (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) hit her first collegiate home run in the opener, and
Olivia O'Connor (FY, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) had strong pitching efforts in both games, during the Augsburg University softball team's pair of losses to the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg took an early 1-0 lead, but St. Scholastica plated four runs in the third frame, taking advantage of three Augsburg errors. Three of the four runs scored in the inning were unearned against starting pitcherÂ
Sabriya Passmore (SO, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS). Another unearned run came across in the fourth inning for the Saints.
• Dynneson blasted her first collegiate home run in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Auggies, plating O'Connor, who had reached base on an error. Augsburg scored another run in the fifth inning, as
Mackenzie Evenson (SR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) drove homeÂ
Katie Manecke (FY, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) on a single to center.
• Manecke scored the initial run for the Auggies, leading off the game with a walk. She sprinted to third base on a sacrifice bunt by Passmore, then scored on a throwing error.
• Evenson had two of Augsburg's four hits in the game.
• Passmore struck out three against three walks and six hits in the first game, with just one earned run among the five charged to her. O'Connor pitched three innings of scoreless relief, striking out two while allowing one hit.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg had seven hits in the game, including a 3-for-3 effort by Passmore and a 2-for-3 effort by Dynneson, but the Auggies left seven runners on-base in the second-game loss.
• O'Connor continued in the circle and had a solid pitching performance, striking out four against two walks and seven hits in a complete-game effort.
• The Saints scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings to claim the win.
FOR THE FOES
• Heidi Stewart went 3-for-4 with a run scored to lead St. Scholastica in the first game, while Olivia Howe and Toni Bishop had two hits each in the second game.
• Haley Rosenthal struck out three against two walks in a complete-game win in the first game, while Howe pitched a complete-game shutout in the second game, striking out six against no walks.
