ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- The forward line of
Kennedy Stein (FY, Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest HS),
Lanie Lobdell (SR, Aurora, Ill./Metea Valley HS) and
Katie Flynn (SO, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) accounted for two of the visitors' three goals, including the eventual game-winner in the third period, as the Augsburg University women's hockey team claimed a 3-2 women's hockey win at the College of Saint Benedict on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing early in the second period, Augsburg scored twice in a 1:27 span to take a lead it would not relinquish.
Kalli Prekker (SR, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) scored from Lobdell and Flynn at the 14:20 mark, and
McKenna Ellena (SR, Wales, Wis./Kettle Moraine HS) scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season at the 15:47 mark, assisted by Lillia Scheid (JR, Stillwater, Minn./Middleton (Wis.) HS).
• Augsburg took a 3-1 lead at the 6:49 mark of the third period, as Stein scored her second collegiate goal, assisted by linemates Flynn and Lobdell.
• Augsburg outshot Saint Benedict by a 25-20 margin in the game. Goalie Chloe Stockinge (FY, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) picked up her second collegiate win, stopping 18 shots she faced.
FOR THE FOES
• Emily Lemker scored in the first period, and Corrine Brown scored an extra-attacker goal in the final minute of play for Saint Benedict.
• Maggie Gilchrist had 22 saves for the Bennies.
