MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Ana Ortiz (JR, Waterloo, Iowa/Columbus Catholic HS) scored on a free kick in the 25th minute, giving the Augsburg University women's soccer team a 1-0 victory at Concordia College-Moorhead on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ortiz scored on a free kick on the left wing from 25 yards out at the 24:14 mark, giving Augsburg the 1-0 lead. 
• The game was an evenly matched one, with Augsburg holding a 9-5 advantage in shots. Concordia had five corner kicks to Augsburg's three.
• Aspen Brockhouse (JR, Chaska, Minn./Des Moines (Iowa) Christian HS) gained her second straight shutout in goal, recording three saves for the Auggies.
• Ortiz had five of Augsburg's nine shots in the game, including five shots on-target.
