Cade Sheehan (SO, Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS) threw four touchdown passes and rushed for another, leading a balanced offensive attack for Augsburg University in a 42-21 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football win at Macalester College on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg outgained Macalester by a 457-311 margin and played a balanced offensive game, passing for 226 yards and rushing for 231 yards. The Auggies forced four Macalester turnovers -- three interceptions and a fumble -- with
Camdin Carlson-Mathies (SR, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) returning an interception 15 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.
• Sheehan completed 21-of-35 passing for 226 yards, throwing touchdowns to four different receivers -- a 27-yarder to
Isaiah Thompson (JR, Detroit Lakes, Minn./Detroit Lakes HS) in the first quarter, a four-yarder to
Braden Tretter (SO, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) in the second quarter, a 16-yarder to
Tyrone Wilson (FY, Ellendale, Minn./New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva HS) in the second quarter and an 18-yarder to
Michael Ims (JR, Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) in the fourth quarter. He also rushed nine times for 47 yards, with a two-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
• Eight different Auggies caught passes in the game, led by Tretter's 13 catches for 90 yards.
Dominic Smith (SO, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) caught six passes for 40 yards.

DJ Monroe (SO, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) rushed 10 times for 70 yards, while Thompson rushed six times for 37 yards. Tretter had five carries for 38 yards.
• Defensively,
Justin Tverberg (SO, Farmington, Minn./Hastings HS) led the Auggie defense with 11 tackles (10 solo) and a fourth-quarter interception. Carlson-Mathies had six tackles (six solo), as did
Brandon Sjostrand (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS), who also had a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

Marcus Kimbrough (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest HS) had a first quarter interception for the Auggies.
FOR THE FOES
• Michael Nadeau completed 21-of-44 passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns for Macalester. Vasco Sierra caught five passes for 74 yards and a touchdown, and Ty Bruckner and Logan Pampel also caught touchdown passes. Pampel also rushed 26 times for 114 yards.
• Jacob Davis had 12 tackles (11 solo), two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery to lead the Scots, while Cameron Latvis and Troy Barksdale had interceptions.
