Auggie women drop 2-0 decision at St. Kate's

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's soccer team surrendered goals in the 17th and 49th minutes, dropping a 2-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference decision at St. Catherine University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• St. Catherine controlled possession in the game by a 55-to-45-percent margin and outshot Augsburg by an 18-10 margin. St. Catherine scored at the 16:48 mark and 49:00 mark, and only surrendered four shots on-goal by the Auggies.
• Jennifer Bobaric (SR, Andover, Minn./Andover HS) had four shots, including one on-goal, to lead the Auggies, while Jaelyn Nedelcoff (SO, Oregon, Wis./Oregon HS) had three shot, with one on-frame. 
• Goalkeeper Iz Shuster (JR, Waconia, Minn./Waconia HS) had seven saves.

FOR THE FOES
• Emily Hinze scored from Jess Bartz in the 17th minute, and Amanda Elton scored from Natalie Pfleger in the 49th minute for St. Catherine.
• Kate Praetz had four saves for the Wildcats.
