RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- Katie Flynn (SR, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) scored a pair of goals, the first two in a string of four straight for the Augsburg University women's hockey team, as the Auggies scored a 4-3 nonconference victory over the No. 5-ranked University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Falcons opened with a pair of goals in the first 5:54 of play, but Augsburg cut the lead to one with Flynn's first goal, from Emily Cronkhite (SO, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS), then tied the game on Flynn's second goal, a power-play marker at the 13:42 mark of the second period, assisted by Jenna Gerold (SR, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) and Kennedy Stein (JR, Lake Forest, Minn./Lake Forest HS)
• Nora Stepan (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) scored her first collegiate goal, a shorthanded marker, at the 17:21 mark of the second period, and Stein capped the Auggie scoring with an unassisted goal 22 seconds into the third period.
• Chloe Stockinger (JR, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) had 22 saves in goal for the Auggies to pick up the victory.
• UW-River Falls outshot Augsburg by a 25-17 margin in the game. Stein had four shots on-goal to lead the Auggies.
• Auggie defenders blocked 13 UW-River Falls shots, with Cronkhite claiming three blocks.

FOR THE FOES
• Bailey Olson and Emma Schmitz had a goal and assist each for UW-River Falls.
• Jordan O'Connor had nine saves in 40 minutes of action in goal, with Sami Miller recording four saves in relief.
