ADRIAN, Mich. – The 13
th-ranked Augsburg University women's hockey team played its third of five-straight road games to open up the season on Friday evening, falling to tenth-ranked Adrian College 4-0 in nonconference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Bulldogs drew first blood with a goal near the midpoint of the first period and followed it up with three more goals in a span of less than eight minutes in the second period.

Chloe Stockinger (JR, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) logged 18 saves in goal while Augsburg defenders blocked five shots in the game.

Kennedy Stein (JR, Lake Forest, Minn./Lake Forest HS) led all skaters with four shots while five Auggies finished with two shots each on the night.
• The Auggies were outshot by a 22-18 margin while both teams went 0-4 on power play opportunities.
FOR THE FOES
• Une Bjelland scored two goals for Adrian while Kaleigh Cadorette and Gia Avalone each found the back of the goal once for the Bulldogs.
