ADRIAN, Mich. – The 13
th-ranked Augsburg University women's hockey team dropped a tight contest to tenth-ranked Adrian on Saturday, falling 1-0 in nonconference play in Michigan.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Bulldogs found the back of the goal in the first period for the second consecutive day, this time a power play goal at the 15:29 mark that proved to be the game's only goal.
• Augsburg managed 31 shots on goal, but Adrian goaltender Sophie Goldberg stopped them all for her third consecutive shutout.

Chloe Stockinger (JR, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) faced 36 Bulldog shots on goal, making 35 saves. Augsburg held a narrow advantage in blocked shots with 10 compared the Adrian's eight.
• The Auggies had plenty of chances to score, going 0-7 on power play opportunities with 13 shots on goal across them. Adrian went 1-5 on power plays with 11 total shots on goal.
