WINONA, Minn. – The Augsburg University and Saint Mary's University women's soccer teams played to a scoreless tie in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The game was a defensive battle, with Augsburg goalkeeper Iz Shuster (JR, Waconia, Minn./Waconia HS) stopping all three shots on-goal she faced to earn her second shutout of the season and fourth of her carer.
• Augsburg outshot Saint Mary's by an 11-8 margin -- a 3-1 advantage in the first half and an 8-7 advantage in the second half. The Auggies had seven corner kicks to Saint Mary's four in the game.
• Jayla Ponce (SO, Kuna, Idaho/Kuna HS) had three shots for the Auggies, while Annika Rudolph (SO, Richfield, Minn./Richfield HS) and Allison Hookom (FY, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) had two shots each.

FOR THE FOES
• Genesis Capacio and Lauren Ashe had two shots each for Saint Mary's.
• Cardinal goalkeeper Alexis Nguyen had five saves.
