ST. PETER, Minn. – Six different Augsburg University men's hockey players scored goals, and goalie
Samuel Vyletelka (FY, Zilina, Slovakia/Grammar School of St. Francis of Assisi) stopped all 21 shots he faced for his fourth shutout of the season, as the No. 4-ranked Auggies won their 10th straight game, a 6-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg outshot Gustavus by a 24-21 margin, and made the most of its 24 shots on-goal, converting six goals from six different skaters. Eleven different Auggies figured in the scoring, led by
Austin Martinsen (SR, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS), who had a goal and an assist, and
Jarod Blackowiak (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie HS), who had two assists.

Austin Dollimer (SR, Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount HS) opened the scoring for the Auggies with a goal 6:59 into the game, assisted by Blackowiak.
Erik Palmqvist (JR, Linkoping, Sweden/Anderstorpsgymnasiet) gave the Auggies a 2-0 lead with a power-play goal at the 10:45 mark of the first period, assisted by Martinsen and
Logan Kons (SO, Niles, Ill./Niles West HS).
• The Auggies put three goals on the board in the second period.
Nick Woodward (SR, Dubuque, Iowa/Dubuque HS) scored from
Michael Redmon (JR, West Bloomfield, Mich./Centennial (Tenn.) HS) and
Gavin Holland (SR, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) at the 6:50 mark, Martinsen scored from
Patrick O'Connor (SR, Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead HS) 32 seconds later, and
Fritz Belisle (JR, Red Wing, Minn./Roseville Area HS) scored an unassisted goal at the 12:31 mark.

Keenan Lund (JR, Startell, Minn./Sartell HS) capped the scoring with a goal from Blackowiak, 1:54 into the third period.
• Augsburg was also efficient on the penalty kill, keeping the Gusties scoreless on all five of their power-play opportunities, including three in the third period.
• Vyletelka picked up his fourth shutout of the season, tied for the most among NCAA Division III goalies nationally, with his 21-save effort. He is now 8-1-0 on the season.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• Augsburg has now outscored its opponents by a 76-30 margin this season. The Auggies entered Saturday's game tied for the second-best scoring defense among NCAA Division III schools, allowing just 1.50 opponent goals per-game.

• Justin Damon had 18 saves in goal for Gustavus.
