SALEM, Ore. -- The Augsburg University women's lacrosse team suffered a 21-0 shutout loss at Willamette University on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Willamette outshot Augsburg by a 32-7 margin, including a 19-2 advantage in the first half, as the hosts built a 13-0 lead. The Bearcats also had 15 draw controls to the Auggies' eight, and had 26 ground balls to the Auggies' 12.
• Emma Meythaler (FY, Golden Valley, Minn./Hopkins HS) had seven saves in goal for the Auggies, adding two caused turnovers and three ground balls.
• Kayla Courtney (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Roseville HS) had three ground balls and a caused turnover.
• Shelby Ramirez (FY, Winthrop, Minn./Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop HS) had two draw controls and a ground ball, while Alexa Hoffman (SO, Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS) and Alexa Martin (SO, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) had two draw controls each.

FOR THE FOES
• Tati Klenk scored five goals for Willamette, while Catie Kawamura and Laura Kelly scored three goals with an assist each. Lily Bachiochi scored two goals with five assists and five ground balls.
• Shelby Sawyer had five saves for the Bearcats.
