McMINVILLE, Ore. -- Shelby Ramirez (FY, Winthrop, Minn./Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop HS) scored two goals for the Augsburg University women's lacrosse team in a 21-3 nonconference loss at Linfield University on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Linfield scored the first nine goals of the game in the opening 12:22 of play before Ramirez scored the Auggies' first goal. The Wildcats ran off another 10 straight goals before Ramirez and Maylynn Prokopec (SO, Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna HS) scored a pair of goals at the end of the third quarter.
• Ramirez had five ground balls and two draw controls for the Auggies, whiile Prokopec added three ground balls.
• Mackenzie Galazen (FY, Kimball, Minn./Rocori HS) had three draw controls and two ground balls, while Alexa Hoffman (SO, Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS) had two draw controls and a ground ball.
• Alexa Martin (SO, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) had two ground balls, two caused turnovers and a draw control, and Alex Davis (SR, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) had a ground ball and a caused turnover.
• Goalie Emma Meythaler (FY, Golden Valley, Minn./Hopkins HS) had 13 saves, to go along with two ground balls.
• Linfield outshot Augsburg by a 42-11 margin and had 19 draw controls tto Augsburg's eight. The Auggies had 17 ground balls to Linfield's 10.

FOR THE FOES
• Abby Ross scored six goals with two assists and six draw controls for Linfield, while Amelia Wright added six goals. Behany Shade had two goals, five assists, 11 draw controls and four caused turnovers.
• Linfield goalkeeper Lizzy Harms had five saves.
