McMINVILLE, Ore. -- Maylynn Prokopec (SO, Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna HS) figured in all three Augsburg University goals with two scores and an assist, as the Auggies closed their trip to the Pacific Northwest with a 16-3 nonconference loss to the University of Puget Sound on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Puget Sound took an 11-0 halftime lead before Augsburg scored a pair of goals to open the second half, including the first collegiate goal for Autumn Flanigan (FY, Troy, Mo./Troy Buchanan HS).
• Prokopec scored both of her goals in the third quarter, adding a ground ball.
• Mackenzie Galazen (FY, Kimball, Minn./Rocori HS) had seven draw controls and a ground ball, while Shelby Ramirez (FY, Winthrop, Minn./Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop HS) had four draw controls and a ground ball. 
• Emma Meythaler (FY, Golden Valley, Minn./Hopkins HS) had seven saves in goal for the Auggies.
• Augsburg was outshot by a 31-9 margin by Puget Sound. The Loggers had 15 ground balls to Augsburg's 11, while Augsburg had 12 draw controls to Puget Sound's 11.

FOR THE FOES
• Mimi Carrier-Berndt scored five goals, adding four ground balls. Lauren Mastin scored three goals with three draw controls.
• Hayden Hotchkiss scored a goal adn an assist, adding five draw controls.
