Augsburg drops 21-4 decision at Carroll

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- Outshooting the visitors by a 40-8 margin, the Carroll University women's lacrosse team scored a 21-4 victory over Augsburg University on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Pioneers outshot the Auggies by a 29-1 margin in the first half, building a 14-1 lead. Carroll had 24 ground balls to Augsburg's 12 and 22 draw controls to Augsburg's four.
• Maylynn Prokopec (SO, Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna HS) scored three goals to lead Augsburg, along with a ground ball.
• Mackenzie Galazen (FY, Kimball, Minn./Rocori HS) scored the other Auggie goal, to go along with two ground balls. Kayla Courtney (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Roseville HS) had an assist.
• Shelby Ramirez (FY, Winthrop, Minn./Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop HS) scored a goal with three draw controls and a ground ball.
