LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Augsburg University women's lacrosse team suffered a 21-1 defeat at the hands of Lake Forest College in a Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference game on Saturday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Lake Forest outshot Augsburg by a 23-3 margin in the first half, building a 12-0 halftime advantage. The Foresters claimed 37 shots to Augsburg's eight, had 16 ground balls to Augsburg's 8 and 17 draw controls to Augsburg's six.

Maylynn Prokopec (SO, Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna HS) scored the lone goal for Augsburg, in the third quarter.

Alexa Martin (SO, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) had two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Rylan Lee (FY, Parker, Colo./Ponderosa HS) had two draw controls, a ground ball and a caused turnover, and
Malia Neumann (FY, Mankato, Minn./Mankato West HS) had two draw controls.

• Cass Barbera scored four goals with an assist, four ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers to lead Lake Forest.
• Calliope Saban had five saves and a ground ball in goal for the Foresters.
