Torrie Rehder (FY, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) drove in three of Augsburg University's five runs on the day, as the Auggies dropped a pair of games to host St. Catherine University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference softball play on Sunday afternoon, falling 3-1 and 12-4.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg's lone run came in the first inning, as
Sara Deming (SR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) reached base on a single, moved to second on a single by
Meredith Taylor (FY, Randolph, Minn./Randolph HS), and scored on a single by Rehder. Augsburg had just five hits in the first game, and stranded six runners on base.
• The Wildcats tied the game with a run in the fourth inning, then added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings to score the victory.

Olivia O'Connor (SO, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) struck out five against three walks and seven hits in her second complete-game pitching effort of the weekend.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg took an early lead, as Rehder drove in both Taylor and Deming on a single in the top of the first inning. But St. Catherine sent 11 batters to the plate and scored five runs in the bottom of the first, and added seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to end the game early via the NCAA eight-run rule.

Bella Kallas (SR, Big Lake, Minn./Big Lake HS) walked and scored on a
Katie Manecke (SO, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) single in the second inning, and
Zoie Johnson (FY, Carlton, Minn./Esko HS) doubled and scored on a Kallas single in the third inning.

Saryn Sherrell (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) pitched a complete-game for the Auggies, striking out two against five walks and 10 hits.
FOR THE FOES
• Annabelle Schutte hit two doubles and drove in a run in the first game for St. Catherine. Alyssa Montero hit a three-run homer in the second game.
• Montero had nine strikeouts in a first-game pitching win.
