ST. PETER, Minn. -- WIth four different players scoring goals and 11 different players figuring in the scoring, the Augsburg University men's hockey team claimed a 4-1 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory at Gustavus Adolphus College on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg scored its first two goals on the power play, going 2-for-4 with the man advantage in the game.
Logan Kons (JR, Niles, Ill./Niles West HS) scored the opening goal of the game at the 7:46 mark of the first period, walking in for a wrist shot from between the faceoff circles, assisted by
Michael Ferrandino (SO, Lisle, Ill./Waterloo West (Iowa) HS) and
Grant Reichenbacher (SR, Verona, Wis./Madison Edgewood HS).
• The Gusties tied the game early in the second period, but Augsburg scored twice in a 1:49 span late in the frame to take the lead to stay.
Nick Woodward (SR, Dubuque, Iowa/Dubuque HS) scored on the power play at the 16:21 mark, scoring on a shot from the left point, assisted by
Austin Dollimer (SR, Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount HS) and
Daniel Chladek (JR, Anaheim, Calif./Canyon HS).

Jake Osiecki (JR, Verona, Wis./Verona HS) scored his first collegiate goal at the 18:10 mark, scoring on a shot through traffic from the right faceoff dot, assisted by
Erik Palmqvist (SR, Linkoping, Sweden/Anderstoropsgymnasiet) and Dollimer.

Michael Redmon (SR, Brighton, Mich./Centennial (Tenn.) HS) capped the scoring for the Auggies with a goal at the 7:03 mark of the third period on a wraparound shot, assisted by
Jarod Blackowiak (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie HS) and
Vincent Weis (JR, Madison, Wis./Madison Edgewood HS).
• Goalie
Jack Robbel (SR, Bloomington, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) stopped 17 of the 18 shots he faced in goal to claim the victory for the Auggies. The Auggies outshot the Gusties by a 24-18 margin.
FOR THE FOES
• Nate Stone scored from Christian Miller and Nick Mountain at the 3:10 mark of the second period for Gustavus.
• Jackson Hjelle had 20 saves in goal for the Gusties.
