MINNEAPOLIS –
Phoebe Alva Rosa (SO, Jackson, Wyo./Jackson Hole HS) scored a pair of goals in the opening 12 minutes of the game, and
Malia Neumann (JR, Mankato, Minn./Mankato West HS) tied the game with a goal with 56 seconds left to play, as the Augsburg University women's soccer team claimed a key Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference point in a 3-3 tie with St. Olaf College on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 3-2 entering the final minute of play,
Hannah Hatfield (SO, Rogers, Ark./Rogers HS) collected the ball off a a blocked shot by
Clara Fesemyer (JR, Madison, Wis./Madison East HS), and slid the ball to her left to Neumann, who struck a rising shot from 25 yards out to the goal, tying the game.
• Augsburg scored twice early, but St. Olaf tied the game with two header goals off of corner kicks, then took the lead on an unassisted goal in the 60th minute. St. Olaf held a 56-to-44-percent advantage in possession, and outshot the Auggies by a 15-4 margin in the game. The Oles also had 12 corner kicks to Augsburg's two.
• Alva Rosa had both of Augsburg's shots in the first half, with both going in the net. She scored her fourth goal of the season at the 3:13 mark, taking a long pass from
Megan Hensel (SR, Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS), eluding a defender and popping a shot to the left corner of the net. Eight minutes later, she scored following a drive by
Jayla Ponce (SR, Kuna, Idaho/Kuna HS) that was blocked in front of the net.
Abby Rosebur (SO, South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS) had the second assist on the goal.
