HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Knights, who have outscored their opponents by a 48-4 margin this season, held a 32-8 shot advantage in the game and controlled possession throughout, with much of the action spent in its offensive third of the field. However, just four of the Knights' 32 shots were on-goal, with three shots hitting the crossbar in the first half.
• Auggie goalkeeper
Oscar Herrera (SR, Madison, Wis./Madison West HS) saved all four shots he faced for his fourth shutout of the season and 16th of his collegiate career. His 16 career shutouts are fourth-most in Augsburg men's soccer history.
• Meanwhile, six of Augsburg's eight shots were on-goal in the game, with four shots on-goal coming in the final half-hour of play.
• Central defenders
Drew Collins (SR, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) and
Jakob Mohrlok (JR, Stuttgart, Germany/Schoenbuch Gymnasium) played the full 90 minutes, aiding in keeping most of Carleton's attacks outside of the frame.
•
Mizael Harris (SO, Portland, Ore./La Salle Catholic College Prep HS) had two shots for Augsburg in the game.
FOR THE FOES
• Daniel Linder had six saves in goal for Carleton, which entered the game as the No. 4-ranked team in the latest

• Ben Pennell and Justin Crawmer had six shots each.
QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "That was an incredible Carleton team. We hung tough and protected our goal very well. I know they had a lot of shots, but there wasn't much that got through to Oscar. I'm not sure he was stretched to make a difficult save. Overall a good defensive effort and a good point against the No. 4 team in the country.
Drew Collins showed why he's been an All-Region defender today -- he was incredible and inspired and drove our team today."
• "We had our chances, especially as the game wore down and got a little more open. They did clear one off the line in the first half after their GK spilled a cross. In the later stages, Miz and Jeffrey created a few quality moments."
• "We weren't particularly good in possession today. We've been rushing it lately and were doing more of that until the final stages of the game. We've got to slow down and hang on to it, giving us a chance to breathe and control the rhythm of the game. That's said, Carleton was everywhere -- their pressure was constant and they didn't make it easy to play."
• "Now it's back up to Duluth to try and lock up a playoff spot. We are fully aware of the circumstances, having lost up there last year. It won't be easy."
