HOW IT HAPPENED

Mitchel Munzing (SO, Portland, Ore./Grant HS) in the seventh minute.
Mizael Harris (SO, Portland, Ore./La Salle Catholic College Prep HS) worked the ball through a wall of Luther defenders and fed Munzing for an excellent scoring chance, but Luther goalkeeper Jack Bell made a huge save to preserve the tie.

nd minute. Luther had an 8-2 advantage in shots in the second half.
• Harris had four shots in the game, including one on goal, while Munzing had two shots with one on goal.

QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "Apparently the well has run dry - we haven't scored a goal in three games and in four of the last five. It is not for lack of opportunity. We had three high quality chances in the first half and two in the second tonight, among other half chances and opportunities from services. It is frustrating, for sure. The good thing is we are still creating dangerous moments, and our defending has improved immensely."
• "We got beat on a set piece that we failed to challenge. Not rocket science, their guy just beat us and hammered it past Luke. We've conceded eight goals all season, and six of those have come from set pieces. Big thanks to Luke for coming out of the classroom to help us when Oscar went down from a hit in the Gustavus game. He did a great job, especially not having trained since the spring."
• "
Eric Riera was our best player tonight. He controlled the tempo and was so efficient with the ball, His counterpressing was tremendous, and his interventions were so important to the team."
• "Now we need to prepare for a good Concordia team up in Moorhead where we lost last year. It's a tough trip, difficult field, and an opponent that is improving and on the rise."
UP NEXT
• Augsburg will take on Concordia-Moorhead in a road contest on Saturday (9/7) at 1 pm.
