HOW IT HAPPENED
• Though Augsburg led 10-8 early in set one, the Cobbers claimed nine of the next ten points to take a 17-11 advantage that proved to be too much for the Auggies to overcome.
• Trailing by eight at 21-13 in set two, the Auggies put together an impressive eight-point run to tie the set at 21 each. That proved to be as far as their momentum could take them as the Cobbers recovered to claim the set's final four points to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
• Augsburg kept set three relatively close early on, trailing by just two points at 12-10 early on. The Cobbers slowly expanded their advantage from that point, taking the set 25-17 to complete the sweep.
