Fritz Belisle (SR, Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS) gave the Auggies the lead on a 3-on-1 break, taking a return pass from Kyler Yeo (SR, Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) and popping it in the net. Then Stibbe, a transfer from Arizona State, gave the Auggies a 4-2 lead, quickly driving into the slot off a lead pass from Michael Ferrandino (JR, Lisle, Ill./Waterloo West (Iowa) HS) and snapping a low shot for a goal. Duke Kiffin (FY, Shorewood, Minn./Minnetonka HS) had the second assist.
