Emily Cronkhite (JR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) scored a power-play goal midway through the first period for Augsburg University, but the University of Wisconsin-River Falls responded with three straight power-play goals, claiming a 3-1 nonconference women's hockey victory on Saturday afternoon at Ed Saugestad Rink.

• Cronkhite, Augsburg's leading scorer, put the Auggies in front at the 13:58 mark of the first period, scoring from
Nora Stepan (SO, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS).
• However, the Falcons, the No. 4-ranked team in the USCHO.com Division III women's national poll, took advantage of seven power-play opportunities in the game, scoring three straight goals, one in each period, to claim the victory. Meanwhile, Augsburg was 1-of-5 on its power-play opportunities.
• The Falcons held a 34-24 advantage in shots on-goal in the game.
Chloe Stockinger (SR, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) had 31 saves in goal for the Auggies.
• The Auggies claimed 20 blocked shots in the game, led by
Tenley Stewart (SO, Esko, Minn./Esko HS), who had four blocked shots.

• Holly Eckers, Alex Hantage and Megan Goodreau scored goals for the Falcons. Goodreau and Hantage both added assists, and Maddie McCollins and MaKenna Aure had two assists each.
• Jordan O'Connor had 23 saves for UW-River Falls.
