Knoepfle, Loehr named CSC Academic All-District

2022-23 CSC Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team

MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University men's basketball players Conner Knoepfle (SR, Andover, Minn./Andover HS) and Noah Loehr (SO, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Rosemount HS) were each named to the Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), it was announced this week. 

The 2022-23 Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
 
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in mid March. 

Conner KnoepfleA business management major with a 3.79 GPA, Knoepfle has appeared in 78 games and made 49 starts in his five-year career at Augsburg, scoring a total of 577 points and adding 154 rebounds and 139 assists. He was named to the MIAC All-Defensive Team last season and earned Academic All-MIAC honors in each of the previous three seasons. 
 
 

Noah LoehrA sociology major with a 4.00 GPA, Loehr has made 18 appearances for Augsburg in his career thus far, including 17 appearances this season. He posted career-highs in a game against Hamline this season on Januray 7, recording five points and seven rebounds.
