ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Augsburg University softball team dropped a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at No. 9-ranked Bethel University on Saturday afternoon, falling 9-1 and 2-0.

• Bethel sent 11 batters to the plate in the fourth inning, scoring seven runs. The Royals added a pair of runs in the sixth inning to end the game early via the NCAA eight-run rule.

Torrie Rehder (SO, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) in the sixth inning.Â

Jaime Olson (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) had Augsburg's other base hit in the game, a single in the second inning.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• The Royals scored single runs in the first and second innings, but were held scoreless the rest of the way against Augsburg pitcher
Olivia O'Connor (JR, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS). O'Connor had two strikeouts against a walk and nine hits.

Jayden Evenson (FY, Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee HS) and
Grace Syson (JR, Oshkosh, Wis./Lourdes Academy HS) had two hits each for the Auggies.
• Evenson had two of Augsburg's four hits in the second game.
FOR THE FOES
• Jordyn Rudolph hit a two-run homer for the Royals, and Allie Fauth-Kilgore went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI in the first game.
• Fauth-Kilgore went 3-for-4 with a double and run scored in the second game.
