MINNEAPOLIS –
Brynn Hostettler (SO, Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) threw her second career no-hitter in a 10-2, six-inning Augsburg University victory in the first game, but Macalester College scored a 4-1 win over the Auggies in the second game of a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference softball doubleheader on Wednesday at Edor Nelson Field.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Hostettler struck out 12 against 10 walks, but did not allow a hit in her second career solo no-hitter, and Augsburg's second no-hitter of the season. One Macalester run came across on a passed ball in the third inning, and the other came in on a wild pitch in the sixth.
• Augsburg scored four runs in the fourth inning, as a pair of walks were followed by a one-out, two-run double by
Kayla Hanson (SR, St. James, Minn./St. James HS). After an Auggie reached on a fielder's choice,
Torrie Rehder (SO, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) slapped a two-run double to right field to give the Auggies a 4-0 lead.
• Augsburg sent 10 batters to the plate and scored six runs in the sixth inning, ending the game early by the NCAA eight-run rule. Augsburg walked the bases loaded, and Rehder cleared the bases with a three-run double to left field. After another walk,
Olivia Hennager (FY, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) hit a two-run single, and scored the game-clinching run on an RBI single by
Jaime Olson (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS).
• Augsburg had six hits in the game, all coming in the fourth and sixth innings.
Jayden Evenson (FY, Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee HS) had two stolen bases in the game.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Macalester scored three runs in the third inning, taking advantage of two Auggie errors, and added another run in the fifth inning.

Olivia O'Connor (JR, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) pitched a complete game for Augsburg, with four strikeouts against two walks and seven hits. Just two of the four runs charged to her were earned.
• Augsburg was limited to four hits in the second game, with three hits coming in the sixth inning.
Grace Syson (JR, Oshkosh, Wis./Lourdes Academy HS) and
Katie Manecke (JR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) hit singles, and after a walk, Hennager drove in a run on an infield single.
FOR THE FOES
• Kara Jensen pitched a complete-game victory for Macalester in the second game, striking out four against one walk.
• Emily Bergin went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in the second game.
