WGCA ALL-AMERICAN SCHOLAR RELEASE

MINNEAPOLIS – For the second straight year, Augsburg University women's golfer
Elizabeth Fagerlind (SO, Kasson, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville HS) was named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association's All-American Scholars list, it was announced on Thursday.
Fagerlind is a business management and finance major with a 4.00 grade-point average. She also earned
Academic All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors this year. To earn WGCA All-American Scholar honors, golfers must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better, and have played in at least 50 percent of the institution's regularly-scheduled competitive rounds during the season.
Fagerlind finished second on the team in scoring in the 2022-23 season, averaging 85.2 strokes per-round, the fifth-best single-season scoring average in school history, with a .524 (267-243) win-loss percentage. She scored in the 80s in 12 of her 13 competitive rounds this season.
Playing in 25.5 rounds in her collegiate career, Fagerlind now has an 85.1 career stroke average and .578 (557-406) win-loss percentage, currently the second-best career average in school history.
Under 10th-year head coach
Eric Rolland, Augsburg finished the 2021-22 season with a 369.2 team stroke average. Augsburg has had 10 WGCA All-American Scholars selections in the past four seasons.
